xhrl_ All tracks are essential black metal / sludge doomer material! I love the heavy slowness and feedback-sludge on the third track by Hell; it is used at the opening but also at transitions in the song to achieve killer emphasis. This is roughly 36' of atmospheric blackened metal that can take you on a meditative journey. I am very impressed by this EP-split and recommend it to anyone who enjoys atmospheric black metal or funeral doom. Excellence like this is a pleasure to hear! Favorite track: Dolore (Hell).

brantly A great split! The Amarok song is an imposing brew of acerbic scorched-Earth-sludge, hallucinatory interstellar doom, and damaged stoner rock. The Hell side is an artfully crafted pair of funereal doom laments. with the atmospheric and mournful, 'Dolore,' maybe being Hell's best song...in their very strong catalog! Favorite track: Dolore (Hell).
